He was working as a bartender, struggling to pay his monthly bills when he caught wind of a friend looking to fill the walls of his new home with artwork. Art by Bankrupt took a risk and spent his last $100 on art supplies to create a piece he hoped to sell to his friend, and he did. It was then the artist declared his name. 

Art by Bankrupt released his first piece to the public in October 2017. He has developed custom artwork for high-profile clients such as Floyd Mayweather, Kanye West, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, and Post Malone.
